Wellness and Nutrition Programs
New Direction
A comprehensive, medically supervised very low calorie diet program for those who need to lose 50+ pounds. Participants may lose 3-5 pounds per week by utilizing a nutritional food replacement beverage for weight loss. Individuals receive individual behavior modification sessions with a clinical psychologist to learn self-management skills and make habit changes. Registered dietitians lead classes to enhance nutrition education, and exercise physiologists provide exercise a personalized exercise plan. Physician referral required.
Outlook
A professionally supervised low calorie diet plan and lifestyle modification program provided for individuals who need to lose 30 - 50 pounds. Participants follow a weight reduction meal plan with two daily food replacement beverages to achieve a one to two pound loss per week. Participants receive nutrition education, behavior modification and personalized exercise recommendations. Physician referral is not required. However, a release to exercise must be signed by your physician.
Nutritional Counseling
Individual appointments with a registered/licensed dietitian. Meal planning, recipe modification, nutrition advice for individuals with special needs and more.
*Participants in Healthy Lifestyle weight management programs listed above have access to St. John Siegfried Health Club’s indoor walking track, pools, and aerobics and aquatics classes. Physician’s approval required for exercise at the health club.
